Network Through Which Corporations Hire Public School Teachers/Classes To Solve Problems
Idea Description
For-profit network through which corporations "hire" the best public school teachers to solve specific problems during curriculum "plug-ins" that focus on problem solving, research, idea generation, leadership and competitiveness.
Say a company wants to design a better product or their CEO needs to give a major speech in a few months or they need to research a market segment. They submit their request to a curriculum writer who will create a lesson plan incorporating it.
Companies subscribe --- it's not cheap but they get powerful benefits and great PR. Teachers get substantial cash to augment their income.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
Hire a smart public school teacher to co-design the program... sign up initial corporate subscribers and initial teachers to pilot the program.
Vote for it now.

Q1: Working on economics. Corporations subscribe for $100K a year.. this "hires" four classrooms at $20K to the teacher, leaving $20K for the network operator. Once we hit a few hundred corporations it starts to get potentially interesting.

the ideal market test would test both sides... test the quality of the service (get some teachers to give it a try) and test demand/qualfy corporate customers. the latter would be harder in my view... but worth finding out what you'll find out early!
thats a neat idea. Maybe as a test run, teachers could offer their services for free to start.
smart idea. you are solving two problems. 1) businesses can easily get out of touch with the zeitgeist and fresh thinking... and their high-priced consultants are often just as out of touch 2)the best public school teachers get no recognition, no chance to compete, not access to the free market unless they leave. this brings both together in a format that can be profitable.
