Temperature Sensitive Safety Paints - preventing workplace accidents
Idea Description
Safety paint is designed to reduce the number of work place injuries from burns due to hot surfaces. The paint turns bright yellow when hot to warn people working nearby. It could be used anywhere, but will be especially useful in places like factories or power plants where there are a lot of hot pipes.
If we win we would use the money to pay for the government testing required to use the product in an industrial facility. We are talking to people at a nuclear power plant to arrange testing.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
We need to pay for the testing required to use the product in government facilities. Once we have that done we can begin field testing and refining our prototype.

Currently, we are devoting all of our time into product development in order to pass industrial certification. Once that is done, a site will be soon to come.
With this project, all of our time is spent on product R&D in order to ensure our industrial certification. Once that is completed a site will soon follow.
