Idea Description
My idea is to re-engineer the way tennis strings are both manufactured and shaped. As a result my new string would be stronger due to improvements in composite materials bonding technology and adding ridges in shape of ridges that will grip the ball longer allowing for more control of spin and therefore more control of the ball.
The technology of producing the string has basically remained the same for the past 30 years. My new HEX Composite String will “Rock” the Tennis world, the same way the advent of oversize rackets did in the 80’s.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
I will organize a engineering team with team members specializing in: composite materials, strength dynamics and extrusion manufacturing. We will then develop a final product, identify best practices for manufacturing and develop a final business model. I will then identify a venture capitalist firm to back the project and get started changing the Tennis World.

You're solving a problem that no-one has at this point. I think that you need to bootstrap this idea to the point where you have a prototype that someone is using to blow away better players with. Until that point, I'm not sure what is really "real" here....
