Idea Description
The ultimate measure of a man is what he does--for others.This belief is the foundation upon which F-R-E-D.COM will be created,and is the sole purpose for which the company will exist.The idea is to create a 'hybrid'company which combines the typical elements of a traditional business,with the total commitment to humanitarian issues and social problems of non-profit organizations.We will design 'high profile'merchandise,that the general public uses frequently,such as tee shirts,coffee mugs,gym bags etc,with powerful messages for the purpose of keeping an unrelenting spotlight on human pain and suffering,sell at a profit,with 50% of the wealth committed to humanitarian work.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
(1)Have a better website design
(2)Immediately begin contact with high schools to establish F-R-E-D.COM TEAMS,for the purpose of getting more youth involved with humanitarian work
(3Contact emergency and homeless shelters(focusing on women/families/youth)find out what the specific needs are,and devise a plan to meet those needs
(4)Start building housing for the poor using Shipping Containers
