The personal concierge fad sort of died out at the end of the millenia. Using the internet as a cost effective way of implementation is not nearly as cost effective as it may appear. (The real cost is in labor). I think the idea itself is solid, but I would look into promoting it to a different audience. College students, etc..., a group that is always in need, but isn't all that demanding.

I’d like to go on vacation, but don't have time to research pricing or find a travel agent, call them and discuss what I'm looking for. I'd like to develop an online travel agent service where people can email their vacation requests. Basically it’s working with a travel agent online and not having to call them directly. You talk via e-mail (or instant messanger). The online agent can do all the research and email options and pricing. Once you choose the vacation package you want, they'll book it for you and send you all the necessary print outs and confirmations.
