Idea Description
Our site, http://www.feedyourfamilyfeedtheworld.com gives consumers the opportunity to enjoy fantastic food made in Lancaster County while also making a direct impact in the life of someone less fortunate. Every jar purchased on our site sponsors a child for a day. Ornella, the child currently up for sponsorship, will remain the featured child until she is sponsored through adulthood.
Our sponsor through adulthood strategy answers the concern of many child sponsorship agencies which is recidivism amongst current child sponsors. Please visit our site for more information about our project, and about the agency we sponsor these children through.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
The first $3k will be used to finish sponsoring our current featured child, Ornella, until she is an adult, and to give the next child a good start as well. The $5k will be used to promote our project through various online advertising portals. The remaining $2k will be used to launch a national public relations campaign.
This $10k infusion will help our project to gain momentum and national awareness. Our goal is to sponsor 10 children until adulthood for 2008, and this money will do a large part in making this possible.
