  Q1: I get a lot of people telling me it is a great idea, that it is very useful, and even that it will go far... And then none of them actually use it.   If you can get the company where your consumer works to sign up for the service you may see more activity, it would then be approved method to communicate a benefit for the company employees. A service endorsed by the company would also stimulate additional support from local resturants. The company could advertise to your network of users as well.

  Maybe you can get coupons from restaurants to give to users who lunch at the places that give the coupons -- give people an extra incentive to start using the system.
