Idea Description
The World's Kitchen is a TV show hosted by teens who love to cook. The teens, Teresa and Audrey meet and learn from some of Portland’s finest local international chefs, willing to share their culinary secrets (skills) along with anecdotes of growing up in India, China, Denmark, or France. With their humor in tact, the girls learn how to chop, separate, and spice, along with new words in foreign languages while everything boils down to the common language of yummmmm. We are currently creating video podcasts, including Fusics, food-music-videos, with subjects including satire, "Catatouille", CSAs, Slow Food, Interfaith food and farm partnerships, farmers markets, sustainability,etc.
