What advice do you have to help me grow my idea?
Idea Description
Today, if an athlete wants to attend university on an athletic scholarship, they must put together letters of recommendation, videos of skills performed, stat sheets, etc. Calls must be made, visits arranged, travel planned, vacation days used. I would create a social networking Web site for student athletes, coaches and recruiters where athletes can post their skill videos, recommendations, and goals online. A site of this nature is a huge benefit to coaches, who would save valuable time searching for recruits, as well as offer increased visibility for athletes.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
As the project is rather large, I would use the initial sum to invest in launching a smaller version of the site, focusing on one sport, with plans on expanding when successful.

start out with all sports!!!! cost isn't an issue! market on facebooks...ads are cheap and wildly effective. good luck
The possibilities are limitless with regard to (paid) sponsors, eventually graduating (lol) into a more viable solution on a more global scale. Don't stop believing
