Student run, student employed, fast food/grocery delivery...
Student run, student employed, fast food/grocery delivery service, servicing college campuses and delivering directly to dormrooms.
Idea Description
A completely student/alumni run, student-employed delivery service delivering fast food, restaurant food, drug store items, groceries & coffee to students and residents in the areas of colleges and universities. This would provide students with busy schedules, intense studying and tight parking situations from having to leave their dormrooms on crucial nights. Delivery can occur from any establishments in the area, as suggested by students. We'll also provide payment plans allowing students to prepay for a particular amount of deliveries. This is a great opportunity for student jobs as well. Website will include blogging with college life tips, photos of student managers, and youtube videos.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
If I win the $10,000 I will use it to continue start-up for our company. Right now there is just four of us, students and alumni doing our own driving and phone reception around the area of a university in S. California. We'd love to use this money to help employ more delivery drivers, as well as provide the proper insurance to protect our business. Most importantly, we'd use the money to market - including maintaining our website, creating comedic videos to post, blogging to the community and creating marketing materials such as posters, brochures, etc. Our biggest marketing tool will be working with the freshmen community to put magnets in all dormrooms. We'd like to repeat that yearly.
Vote for it now.
