"Food Court" Style online and offline delivery service
"Food Court" Style online and offline delivery service
Idea Description
A food delivery service that offers more than one type of food, similar to a mall's food court. But, as opposed to food court quality, food delivered will be high quality, restaurant style. A commercial kitchen will be the delivery hub, 3-5 different menus can be designed to start. Maybe Gourmet Pizza, Gourmet Sandwiches and Salads, Sushi, and Thai to begin with. The whole operation would be backed up by a highly functional e-commerce website, and seasonally printed menus for telephone orders. In-store pickup also an option. Other items such as wine, beer, appetizers, chips, soda, salsa, charcoal, etc. can be sold. Once the system and product mix are strong, franchise.

Q1: Running a multi-menu kitchen can be quite a challenge, I suppose. I know of a similar business in London, UK, and many businesses in the US that deliver various types of foods, but from restaurants, not own kitchen. What are your thoughts on the viability of the idea and the public acceptance of it?
Zounds! Love it!
