I agree ErickB, there is a lot going on with Recipe storage. We are vastly different in two areas. First, the access to your recipes that we will provide will be unprecedented. Enter a recipe once and you can get it from any computer in the world connected to the internet, not to mention mobile devices. Just imagine if you were in the grocery store and forgot what you needed to make a certain recipe, you can look it up right there on your phone! Secondly we are providing a standard format for recipes that will make them usable with many other applications. This means that other sites or programs will be able to use the RecipeSnap format to do their own things with them, like menu building or recipe suggestions, while still retaining the ability to use our great sharing features. Al…moreso, we are not just aiming at "recipe storage" users, we are looking to empower food bloggers and web foodies with a platform to show their recipes to the world. The Recipe Cards will work seamlessly with blogs to make the author's job easier. We really think our Recipe Cards will rock the food blogging world.
Thanks for the feedback pinchmysalt and br1168. The mail in recipe entry is a tricky issue. I think it is a cool idea and I want to make it available, we're just not sure how. What kind of price point do you think would be acceptable. We need to cover labor costs of course but don't want it to be too pricey. I think we would have to do it per month. Maybe 50 recipes a month or something?
