  Wireless energy, or electricity in this case would be gratefully beneficial. Not only to save the very few people who actually get electrocuted, but mainly to provide the world with an open source of electricity. Which, if you think about it, could possibly provide power to electric vehicles as well as homes.
  
  This way we probably wouldn't have to pay any electric bills. The government would probably just make an electrical tax built in our tax system, kind of like how they pay for fixing roads.
  
  Now, you're question is about finding engineers that are capable of creating this technology. Well there was one engineer/inventor/genius who successfully accomplished this over 100 years ago. In 1899, Nikola Tesla lit 200 light bulbs over a span of 26 miles.....wirelessly. He almost finished building his biggest project, which would supply the surrounding New York area with wireless electricity, but lost funding at the very end.
  
  So to answer your question, the technology is definitely out there, but it sounds like it would cost a bit of money to get s…moretarted. But with the internet available, I am sure that you could some how locate some communities of engineers who would know of people that would be interested in starting up this project.

  I suppose you could transmit power through microwaves. Like the plans to build a vast solar array in space and "beam" energy down through microwave radiation, capture and convert it to electricity. Although for the home that might be dangerous. More so than an electric shock. You'd cook like a turkey.
