WELL OTHERS CAME OUT WITH A CORDED LIGHT WHICH YOU PLUG INTO YOUR PORT TO UTILIZE YOUR BATTERY TO RUN THE SMALL LED LIGHT THAT YOU CLIP ON TO ALUMINATE YOUR KEYBOARD WHEN IN A DARK ROOM_AIRPLANE-HOTEL -- AUTOMOBILE - BUS -ETC.
HOW ABOUT UTILIZING THE LIGHT FROM YOUR SCREEN BY WAY OF A SMALL THIN CLIP ON PLASITC MADE REFLECTOR. IT CLIPS TO THE TOP OF YOUR SCREEN AND FLIPS BACK OUT OF THE WAY WHEN NOT NEEDED OR IN PLACE TO REFLECT ALREADY USABLE LIGHT FROM YOUR SCREEN. NO BATTERY USE AND PLENTY OF SOFT ALREADY EXISTANT ALUMINATION TO SHINE DOWN ONTO YOUR KEYBOARD.

I WILL UTILIZE THE MONEY TO CONTACT INDUSTRY TO INTRODUCE THIS DATED AND DOCUMENTED PATENT APPLIED FOR DEVICE. THIS WOULD BE MY FIRST OF NUMEROUS INVENTIONS I HAVE ON THE DRAWING BOARD. I NEED THE MONEY TO PARTNER MYSELF WITH MUCH SMARTER INDIVIDUALS THEN MYSELF TO GO INTO PRODUCTION ON ALL OF MY IDEAS. I WOULD LOVE TO BE PART OF AND INDUSTRY THINK TANK SHARING IN THE PROFITS OF MY CREATIONS. I CAN THINK OF IT BUT I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO GET IT OUT THERE SAFELY.

Responding to your question: Any product/concept/idea will be copied eventually. It is simply a matter of believing in yourself and getting the product to market quickly and efficiently. Even once that is complete, you can't just stop. I have seen first hand several companies that started, made tons of sales, got really comfortable with the status the achieved... and then stopped innovating their products and ideas. Guess what happened? Their competitors not only caught up to them but surpassed them. They had such a head start and a brand/image created that they could have maintained their status if they just kept at it but they gave up or got depressed (20-30 person companies can get depression too it turns out.) rather than trying to figure out a way to further improve their immediate situations.
