Idea Description
The idea is to have a stand alone custom tee shirt location in a mall environment. Place this Airstream looking building (aprox. 7'X14') in the mall with hundreds of iron on decals on the outside in movie theatre looking glass marque's. The logo sign is mounted on the top of the building and made of bright neon colors. The building is bright white.
Each iron on would have a number associated with it. The customer comes into the building with the number of the iron-on and would choose from hundreds of tee shirts that would be displayed on brightly lit shelves in the store.
A cash register, computer (access to more graphics), counter and hot press is all that is needed! (Hugh profit)
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
Develop design plans and drawings for bids on the manufacture of the building. It would be in two pieces and assembled in the mall. Work with iron-on transfer manufactures to secure pricing. Hire an attorney to secure the patent for the building and the concept.
Vote for it now.

I think that you are eating up a lot of your profit in unnecessary startup costs. Although the building you want to create is flashy, it seems over the top and unnecessary. I think that you need to find something aside from the building to set yourself apart from the average t-shirt store. I think that you could create something similar, with the same effect, just by renting a shop in the mall. I also think you are going to run into trouble getting a mall to let you build anything like this inside due to permanence issues. They allow the kiosks, but something of the nature you are describing may not be allowed. Also, in addition to monthly space rental costs, you will have the development and building costs, as well as permitting costs and issues that go along with it.
