Laser beam technology to get rid of our old supply of electricity
Idea Description
I picture in my mind, not so far in the future getting rid of annoying electricity poles with wires for communication and electricity that carry on forever. I think it is an old technology and the solution is to put focus and research on generating towers that can emit high voltage electricity through infra red or lasers that would stretch from one tower to the next approximately 3 miles distance and more in deserts and open spaces. Much technology is needed for this but it would help our environment in many ways and it would be very efficient. The power can be generated through natural gas which is VERY abundant in the United States and other parts of the world.
