Idea Description
With wildfires in many parts of our country and increased rainfall in other there needs to be a way to create a balance. Areas with high rainfall could have various locations where tanker trucks could be set up. Collection reservoirs could supply water to these tankers and be placed strategically in areas with increased drought or wildfires. The water collected could be used for irrigation of farmland, saturate land with high risks of wildfires,and provide additional means for extinguishing fires. Water may also be brought to treatment plants to increase the supply of drinking water.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
Creating a blueprint of tankers and collection reservoirs capable of performing the required tasks and submitting it to patent. I would also like to present the idea to the government to address the devastating environmental issues, increase production of our country's farmland (thereby reducing produce cost), and also creating thousands of jobs for the US.
