  There do not seem too many offering breakfast delivery services. Temperature problem can be taken care of by:
  • Offering only local coverage
  • Using carriers that maintain temperature
  
  If the business focuses only on delivering breakfast, it will not require much start-up capital. One small k…moreitchen with 3 members – one cook, one person taking orders and one home delivery person is all it will take to get started. Design a good breakfast menu and have it circulated locally. You can also offer a pre-ordering system wherein customers can pre-order their breakfast for a week or month.

  I agree with oyoyoy that the temperature is a challenge! If you can sort that out, I recommend a pre-ordering system -- like you have at hotels - and start with brunch. That's a non-hurried, large ticket-item that has better economics and a larger audience.

  Are you delivering a cold or hot breakfast? Cold is easy to do, but hot? That's another story. I like my oatmeal hot as well as my coffee, how are you going to do that? Of course the butter for my toast must be cold.. like not melting... and the toast hot and crisp...

  what a cool idea. Why not approach a local restaurant that you like, and start with them. They should sell breakfast. You can be the delivery service. You could make it fancy if you like, and the driver truly delivers breakfast in bed.
