Run your cars on water. thats right Water!
Run your cars on water. thats right Water!
Idea Description
Can Water Really Power a Car?
Thousands of successful water-conversions around the world are proof that this technology works and will soon catch on! Some industry insiders say its just a matter of time before this water-burning technology will be standard in new automobiles. One expert estimates most cars will be using this technology by 2012

Good question SerpaDesign. I found a gentleman by the name of daniel dingel on Youtube who has invented a system that allows his car to run on water. his videos are very informative. So if you would like to know more about cars running on water, go to Youtube and type in ( daniel dingel water powered car )
when you go to Youtube you can also look up Stanley Meyer's Water Powered Car - Part 1 of 2
To SerpaDesign. i think i found an answer to your energy question go to you tube and type in "Japanese Water Car" you can watch the video first or just go down to the comments and read the information left by "shanghaikidx" ah heck, i'll just post it here. but check the video out anyway. This explanation was given by shanghaikidx on Youtube Ok a free lesson in physics : It's not water powered, but by hydrogen, H2 or whatever you want to call it! H2 can't be mined anywhere, it's just an energy carrier. The H2 can be produced from natural gas or from electricity(from coal, nuclear, solar or whatever you like). The natural characteristics of H2 require to liquefy it (at T=-253 C or T=20 K) or to compress it (at p=200 bar). That is why it takes about 4 liter of…more gas to make an equivalent liter of H2. Ok, let s start with the physics lesson very slowly: In order to generate 1 m3 H2 via electrolysis you need 4.3 to 4.9 kWh: Electrolysis: 2 H2O(l) → 2 H2(g) + O2(g) The maximun energy you can get out of H2 later via combustion of H2 or retransformation to electricity is 2.98 kwH per m3. 2 H2(g) + O2(g) → 2 H2O(l). SO, YOU NEED MORE ENERGY TO GENERATE H2, THAN YOU CAN GET OUT OF H2 LATER,
the gentleman LightBulb is talking about is Daniel Dingel and you can find his story on Youtube
In regards to LightBulbs comment. i saw a video on youtube were a guy was using parts he put together to run his water power system from parts purchased at home depot, and i must say watching his video made me nervous. the contraption or box used to hold the water to run his car was actually boiling. But if you go watch the videos of Daniel Dingels on his "water powered car" you clearly see Daniel Dingels encouraging people to put their fingers into the water being used to run his car and believe it or not, they do and the water is at room temperature or cooler. So it's not the idea thats dangerous it's how it's put together that can cause a risk. their are things in our life that we use on a daily bases that run a risk of exploding i'll give you an example. go get your Rem…moreotes the ones you use to turn on your TV, Cd player, Stereo and so fourth now take out the batteries and read the warning label. thats right. the warning label it goes somthing like this WARNING: do not install backwards, charge or put in fire - may explode or leak. Now this potentially explosive device is so stable that it has survived some pretty intense abuse by toddlers teenagers and adults alike. You say this gas is very explosive and the government is wary of having it around citizens i kinda sratched my head on this one and said huh. whats the deference between that and lets say Gasoline! the kind you run your car with or how about the kind of Gas you cook your dinner with or Propane! the stuff you keep your house warm with or cook your BBQ with or how about NOS! yes NOS you know Nitrous Oxide (N2O) the stuff you see race car drivers injecting into the motor so the car will shoot down the runway like a rocket the same kind of NOS Nitrous Oxide (N2O) that we use every day around our little children in Whipped Cream cans imagine a highly explosive gas being used to make a tremendous number of wonderful desserts. hmm. i don't know about anyone else but i'm not giving up my whipp cream. no sir not me. So you see their are many things that could be harmful if not used appropriatly. We humans have never really let fear of harm stand in our way. heck We jump from planes for fun. Ride crazy bulls for bragging rights. Fly to other planets just to see whats their. Ride contraptions called roller coasters for an adrenaline rush and the list goes on and on.
To LightBulb your right on the money when saying the device has to be a finished product designed like a tv and from what i see as of now it can be done. thats the exciting part.
I've yet to be convinced that it works and part of me hopes it doesn't. Chemist friends assure me it takes more energy to break the bond in water than can be derived from re-oxidizing the hydrogen. I suspect the battery is being charged regularly. The reason I hope it doesn't work is that fuel consumption is only one of a panoply of problems with cars. Personal automobiles are unsafe, anti-social & encourage lack of exercise. The pavement they require causes horrid pollution problems by interrupting water cycle, endangering wildlife, and generating strange micro-climates. Walk, ride a bike, or use public transit.
unless you live in Amish country no ones giving up their cars and that my friend is reality . and what planet are you from Uranus. whats with this i hope it doesn't work thing you got going on in your head. Unless you have actually installed one of these things in your own car and know exactly what your talking about i'd advise against assuming that it doesn't work, you obviously didn't go watch the videos on you tube and http://greenenergytv.com/
If something sounds too good to be true, it is. There is no such thing as a perpetual motion machine, and you cannot burn water (that is why it is used in fire extinguishers). Anyone who says you can run a car on water without including another (actual) source of power is wrong. The traditional way to run something "on water" is a steam engine -- go ahead and burn coal or wood to heat the water to steam. Yes, you can run electicity through water and break the hydrogen from the oxygen, then either burn the hydrogen like you do gasoline in an internal combustion engine, or use a fuel cell to convert the enegery of the hydrogen back into electicity. But, if you are going to carry around a battery to produce hydrogen from water, then it is much more efficient to just make an ele…morectric vehicle and skip the hydrogen step. If you want to run a vehicle on hydrogen (as President Bush supports), the only practical way is to produce the hyrodgen off-board, which again requires a source of energy such as an electricity power plant (coal burning, nuclear, wind, gas, hydro). I honestly do not understand why anyone believes you can run a car on water. Same people who believe that man has not stepped foot on the moon?

here some units complete and ready to buy and put in your car http://www.waterpoweredcar.com/hydrobooster.html ready to install & fully guaranteed! http://www.hydrogentap.com/hydrogentap_001.htm
Heres another site that relates to this topic http://www.howstuffworks.com/fuel-cell.htm
Many people don't buy the idea that a hydrogen booster will do anything. If they were so great the car manufactures would be making them already. Well, not yet. In 2008 we will start to see the emerging technology. Also know that there are 240 US and International patents on fuel injection systems that get 150-250 mpg! and ZERO are being made today. So why would you think that they will not allow hydrogen boosters to be manufactured? They allow them in Canada. In China they have about 4,000 engineers researching Brown's Gas Generators, they sell for about $300 US dollars in Taiwan and China. They are not allowed to be imported into the US. We cannot switch to water as a fuel overnight, it has to be a gradual change
Here is another site that you'll find a large selection of books on the subject - fuel from water ____Amazon.com ___go to books and type in "fuel from water"
see patent 6527518 for water powered sump pump---pdv or vdp is hydraulic work of water pressure and change in volume, or fixed volume and change in pressure, and water wheels and dams do it every day with potential energy of water at one height falling through a turbine to a lower height, converting that potential energy into kinetic energy, so how do we do that for cars, a long garden hose maybe ???
LOL at mostrowski comment I like that idea or how about putting a bath tub on top of our cars, LOL
You've provided many links to many different ideas: Fuel Cells, hydrogen internal combustion, HHO generation, on board AND off board generation of H2 through electrolysis, Natural Gas H2 generation. What is your idea?
What is your idea? my idea is to save this beautiful planet. i'm not posting this for the money. i'm posting it because my beautiful mother earth is being abused and she needs us to stand up for her. pure and simple. you choose the method that is right for you just as long as it helps heal our planets wounds.
The wrong thing to do is nothing! Whatever you can do is BETTER THAN NOTHING. Much better than nothing. Your “small” action may tip the scale and create an avalanche. Let's change the tides in our favor. In Earth's favor. We deserve it, don't you think?
According to a recent study by WantToKnow.info, a worldwide research group, since 1908 and the Ford-T, the average mileage DROPPED by almost 40%! While every other technology soared through the roof during these past 100 years - MPG has become twice as bad. Do you see a pattern yet? And when you see that all this is happening in spite of severe warnings against planetary destruction and oil dependability being a national hazard, you can clearly see that we're dealing with a big problem.
Automakers know they have poorly designed vehicles – and the fact that every car MUST have, by law, a large and expensive catalytic converter - is an admission that they don't burn gasoline correctly in those new designs. (The function of the catalytic converter is to burn AND WASTE all the unburned fuel caused by poor engine design!!!)
This is a grassroots movement that will win by numbers. Quiet numbers of DOERS, not TALKERS. We ask you to lead the way and show the way to your friends, your family and the people of your country. Your family's future relies on what you do here and now.
check out this site it has vendors who sell water kits ready to install in your car, advice on how to build a kit and install, troobleshooting section and so on http://water4gas.com/
I simply wanted to know which one of the many clean hydrogen sources/applications you wish to apply the money for, if you were to win. If you wanted to educate viewers of Ideablob of all the ways they can help, well than kudos. P.S. I know how inefficient ICE vehicles are, just see the front page of my site: http://www.AfterOilEV.com
In June 2005, a world record MPG has been achieved by students of the Federal Polytechnical School of Zurich, Switzerland – using Hydrogen – for an eye-popping 12,665 MPG! This is not a typo. They ran a test car for 13 miles on... 1.02 grams of Hydrogen. The world now knows that Hydrogen is powerful, and everybody's talking about it. Unfortunately, Hydrogen-powered as well as hybrid cars have not matured yet. Their MPG performance is not as great as expected. And even worse, Hydrogen pressure tanks in cars and in fuel stations are a huge safety hazard – this stuff is E.X.P.L.O.S.I.V.E like ****. It gets even worse when you hear about Hydrogen factories – they pollute the environment so badly, that the ecological apparent advantage of “clean” cars is immediately exposed as …morea lie... Too bad. The solution is Hydrogen-On-Demand systems. These are systems or devices such as Water4Gas that offer the safest and most economical solution: we produce Hydrogen when we need it, rather than producing it in an expensive and polluting factory, then delivering it in huge trucks and storing it unsafely in high-pressure gas tanks. Hydrogen-On-Demand is much better for the environment. It is MUCH safer for the driver and passengers. I don't want my family sitting right on top of a potential super explosive bomb on the way to a picnic or birthday!
To SerpaDesigns the applications i'm promoting, is Hydrogen-On-Demand systems. These are systems or devices such as Water4Gas that offer the safest and most economical solution: we produce Hydrogen when we need it under the hood of our cars. This system is set up so you only produce Hydrogen-On-Demand while your vehicle is running and not when the vehicle is turned off. when your vehicle is turned off you simply have a container of water under your hood nothing more.
people who run Water4Gas, are not behind. they're at least 7-8 years ahead of the game! And if you’re like me and can’t afford a new car yet, then simple but powerful add-on products put us 10-15 years ahead of the game!
tbird425 07.07.08 | 08:16 PM Use your own best judgment but, from someone who has built and installed several of the 'water4gas' contraptions, I'd suggest that you save your time and money. ****************************************************************************************** So what were the problems that you found with the water4gas systems and what did you do in an attempt to correct the problem?
To calmguy3; The water4gas concept is, in my honest opinion, little more than a means by which people and their money soon go in opposite directions. As to my personal experience with water4gas, a 1 quart jas is too small for the HHO chamber, not enough gas was produced to affect fuel mileage. The raw materials needed to built the device are a lot tougher to locate than advertised. Example - Go to any Lowe's and try to find the adjustable drippers required for proper hydroxy flow from the unit to the air intake. Also, the cutting of the plexiglass is very difficult. An 'H' pattern is required, and was next to impossible for me to make without breaking the plexiglass. Finally, locating the 316L stainless steel wire. I was only able to find 302-304 wire, and used 4 twisted strands for the a…morenode. (positive + lead) I designed my own hydrogen booster, using 4" schedule 40 PVC pipe, and 316L stainless steel, in 12" lengths of 1/4" threaded rod. Output is much better and it's a lot simpler to build.
tbird425 thanks for that input. the jar seemed a little small to me as well i'll keep that in mind when i get ready to set a unit up for myself. After ordering the books i found they have a section called the Free Market Place and it has suppliers who have all the stuff you were looking for including larger containers, plexiglass towers, wire, drippers as well as complete kits ready to install in your car and so on. i think i'll be ordering my parts or a kit from these suppliers and save myself some gas.
tbird425 i found a company called WaterThrottle.com in Portland, Oregon, who provides various HHO component parts as well as complete systems. offering Warranty, Instructions & Techincal Support http://www.waterthrottle.com/ i also found these companies http://www.h2ohybrid.org/ http://www.punchhho.com http://hydrocharged.com/ www.hydrofueltronix.com WWW.TIMSWATER4GAS.COM http://www.hhofuelsaver.com/
Wow! did you file a complaint with the BBB. by reporting their company with the BBB they'll have a file report with the BBB and you may even have legal grounds for a suit. good luck. heres the site. http://www.bbbonline.org/consumer/privindex.aspx
I think that there is already several complaints filed with the BBB depending on which site you go to. Not sure if any results as it does not show anything. In any case it would appear that the PunchHHO group is questionable. I wonder who they really are. On another note running a car on water is cool and green.
PunchHHO is a very reliable company. The person posting above has obvious secondary gain issues. That would explain why they posted multiple times in one night. If anyone has any questions about PunchHHO they can call me at 605-848-0642. BTW, I do not work for them I am just a very happy user of their products and I do not like people trying to burn a good company and a good product for no reason. Jason Collins Mobridge, SD
