Idea Description
Create a solar electric utility here in Phoenix. Phoenix is a prime location for solar, but it is totally underutilized. The placement of solar systems on peoples roofs to create an array. Thanks to energy deregulation, use of incumbant utilities lines at cost is permitted. These panels would form an energy mesh distributing the energy over the entire system thanks to advanced controllers that can communicate back to the system. Distributed solar energy over the mesh would leverage the longevity of solar systems for customer premises.

Develop a business plan, get vc (vc for alt energy is hot now) and put together a team.

Creating solar utility for the entire Phoenix is ambitious. It's ironic how it's under-utilized in such a sunny place. I'll give it a vote!
I don't see it as ambitious, i see it as congruent with the very ideas that the fastest growing companies are now imbued to. 2 questions one must ask 1). how does a company increase its solar realestate. 2). how does one have a solar company supplying power within the city. Installing solar panels could potentially be easier than installing airconditioning systems or things similar to that. Thanks to energy deregulation it all becomes possible, not to mention the government incentives.
