Greener Cleaners - an environmentally friendly cleaning company
Idea Description
There is more and more evidence that household cleaners contain toxic, hazardous chemicals. I would love to open a cleaning company that features non toxic environmentally cleaning techniques and products.
What will you do if you win $10,000 for this idea?
I would contact companies that feature "green" cleaning supplies; seventh generation, shaklee, etc., to see if I could get bulk discounts. I think advertising would be the key with links to the types of hazards standard cleaners can pose. If sucessful I would love to franchise the company.

My wife and I have been using these natural products for years. We could never hire anyone else to clean because they typically use the harshest chemicals. When all that's typically needed is a little elbow grease. This would be a great alternative. You might also include carpet cleaning, though I hate carpet.

seventh geration & shaklee are GREAT products. could you possibly start an awarness website where you would get funding from the named companies, friends, strangers (who must also clean) & colleagues to bring others 'into the know' about what dangers there are, using harsh chemicals, & how healthy ones clean, just as well? i would support your website (with your logo, etc) as we tour the nation in 2008. please comment on our ideablob & see if we can work together as one, in 08'. i look forward to hearing about how your idea advances throughout the remaining three months. oh, ask your dutiful supporters to help put an end to poverty before the governments try to kill this ancient device from being known & shared. thanks liz. pace the peace~! inione.
