According to her Neurologist, her life expectancy is from 5 to 7 years. <BR> I started a journal yesterday as an outlet. Living with a wife that has Alzheimer's, the journal has passages on how she is doing along with events and my inner feelings. The most popular one I ever came up with has a medieval genre. The concept of medieval adventures has always been popular. Mine is similar, with all the fun elements of creating and building up a character, collecting cards, fighting monsters, hoarding treasure, making choices, and completing quests. There are some unique aspects that set my game apart. I have sat down with all ages from 8 yrs old to adult, and they pick it up quick, so it's fun and easy for all ages. The board layout is unique. The artwork on the board and cards rock, choices and details are given in a quest book, so there is no way that the game can be played the same way twice. I have 4 small children and I started to notice that they were having to stand up on the bench and lean forward to reach their food, or that while attempting to eat, the food would land on the ground before it got to their mouth. There seems to be a large gap between the bench and the table. (The majority of benches are attached to the table). I thought that the benches need to be adjustable/slidable like the seats in a car to accomodate everyone, like my kids or my mom who needs a little more space between the bench and the table, and then it would be more injoyable to eat at a picnic table.
