This would require a government contract and AAFES, NEX already have that contract. I would also not be surprised that somewhere in that contract it does not allow a third party to come in and compete with them. Army and Air Force Exchange Service and the Navy Exchange are very competitive when it comes to stuff like that. I couldn't even run a squadron Snack Bar without giving them a kick back. However, I think your prior experience goes a long way. Conceptually I think it is a great idea. As an avid weightlifter / health nut, I take my protein shake three times a day, as well as my supplements. I guess one snag you might have to work with is the discount price being offset by shipping and receiving costs. Further, I cannot imagine that it is a secure environment to do business in, which may put off the investors you might need to scale this idea. But I am sure there are ways around this, just trying to give you some food for thought! Excellent idea though... keep working at it!
