New Site Updates:

Ideablob is an always updating, forever changing, living, growing thing. To keep up with you, we keep trying to improve the site:

  • We have started using Kampyle to receive and manage your feedback. Our #1 source for site improvements is blobbers just like you. The better the feedback, the better we can make ideablob, so let us know what you think.

  • We've had inventors, non-profits, small businesses, entrepreneurs all win $10,000 in our monthly showdown. What's the one thing they all have in common? They used social media to do the leg work for them. Don't know how? We're here to help. Check out our new section on how to use social media.
  • Past Finalists Need Your Advice:

We can only have one winner each month, but that doesn't mean the other ideas just disappear. You can't vote for them, but they can still use your help. Here are a few we picked from ideablob:

Pete Kistler of Brand-Yourself.com needs your help developing his website. It allows students to create online "brands" of themselves for prospective employers.

Michelle D'Avellahs used savvy marketing and a creative mind to make her clothing line, Vintage Blue, but she needs advice on funding to take her businesses to the next level.

Megan Lopez from Tennessee needs advice on starting an organic parenting website.

    Summer Interns:

The ideablob team recently welcomed two new interns. Jessy Joyce Nadar and Andy Tabar. As welcome gifts, we got them fresh new cubes and a heaping pile of work.

Jessy is originally from Mumbai, India and is currently pursuing her MBA. She first attracted our attention as a member of NetImpact, a global network of leaders who are changing the world through business. With a professed love of heights, Jessy celebrated her 22nd birthday canyon jumping in Switzerland and hopes to one day bungee jump at Niagara Falls (seriously).

Andy was a January Finalist on ideablob for his team building website, Bizooki.com. He is originally from Cleveland, Ohio and attends Belmont University in Nashville, where he was selected as Entrepreneur of the Year in both 2006 and 2008. Andy is a self-proclaimed table tennis superstar, can jam on the guitar and got his 10 seconds of fame playing the tuba on ESPN.
