Please note that this Privacy Statement applies only to information collected from you by Ideablob via the Site, offline correspondence in connection with the Site, or the features and Ideablob Contest thereon, and does not apply to information obtained or disclosed on other Ideablob or Advanta websites, in other offline correspondence, or through other contacts with Ideablob or Advanta representatives, unless indicated otherwise. If you are an Advanta business card customer, for example, your use of our website located at www.advanta.com is subject to the privacy practices posted there. Further, the Site may contain links to other entities’ websites that are not controlled or operated by Ideablob or Advanta. This Privacy Statement does not apply to such third party websites, and Ideablob and its affiliates are not responsible for the content of such third party websites or the privacy practices of such third parties. Therefore, we encourage you to request and review the privacy policies of any third parties upon disclosing your information to such parties or visiting such third party websites.
Collection of Your Information
Ideablob collects certain personally identifiable information where you choose to complete online forms, submit business concepts or ideas, vote on other persons’ submissions, or to request information or assistance through the Site or otherwise communicate or interact with us or the Site. Where you provide Ideablob any personally identifiable information, you are representing and warranting that you have the right and authority to provide such information. The personally identifiable information that Ideablob collects includes your name and e‑mail address. You may also be given the option to provide other personal information such as, but not limited to, your address, telephone number, date of birth, or your photograph. Through the Site, Ideablob offers an address book integration service, which you may elect, in your sole discretion, to use. In order for Ideablob to provide this address integration service, you must provide us your e-mail account(s) address and corresponding password(s) with such e-mail service providers as Yahoo!®, Gmail™, AOL®, MSN®, MS Outlook®, and Entourage.
Ideablob may also collect certain non‑personally identifiable information in connection with the operation of the Site, including IP addresses, HTTP request headers, browser or operating system information, and data on advertisements or links on which you click.

Choice and Opt-Out Preferences
You may receive e-mail communications from Ideablob relating to ideablob.com or the Site or other products or services. You will have the ability to unsubscribe from marketing communications by means of a link provided in any such e-mails that are sent to you by Ideablob. Any e-mail opt-out shall not apply to e-mails permitted by applicable law, such as messages relating to any transaction you have requested or your relationship with us. In addition, if you are an Advanta cardholder, we reserve the right to communicate with you via e-mail as described in the advanta.com privacy statement and your cardholder agreement.
Security Statement
Your initial level of security and protection is your personally selected User ID and Password to access your account. This initial security check verifies who you are, allowing you access to your account information while helping to prevent unauthorized access.
The next level of security helps prevent what is referred to as Cross-Site Scripting, or XSS, and database injections. XSS allows a user to hijack your account through scripts hosted on other websites, while database or SQL injections is a more general class of vulnerabilities that can occur whenever one programming or scripting language is embedded inside another. To help prevent these attacks, it is intended that all user-generated content will be escaped before stored in our database and HTML-escaped before being displayed to you.
Another level of security is the use of a secure shell, also called “SSH”, which is a network protocol that allows data and files to be exchanged between your computer and Ideablob over a secure channel. This is meant to help us keep your information secure and confidential while you use the Site.
