ons is now my curriculum. I am currently trying to put together funding for this non profit business I have started. I have found that through education and teaching, new parents and caregivers can learn how to have a safe zone for the children in their care. Teaching people it is ok for the baby to cry, teaching about purple crying and how it is vital to have a plan in case you find yourself in the midst of "one of those days" and the baby keeps crying, and crying, and crying...have a plan!! I have been asked by several agencies (including ones mentioned in the advice section of my idea blog) to speak but so far do not have enough funding to finish purchasing the needed items to finish my idea. I have done all I can do....I have registered my name, filed with the SOS, filed my state tax information, now I am at a stand still. This is such a vital thing needed in my area. Children's Hospital is a little over an hour from me and they are behind me starting this locally. They can't however help at all until I file the 501c. This costs quite a bit of money. I am working with the Children's Hospital and the local child abuse council which I am a member. I hope with all my heart people will see that is a vital idea which will save hundreds of children's lives. There is nothing locally like this which is why even our local CPS office hopes I can get this started and off the ground. Thank you for your votes!
